Kenan-Flagler students (BSBA, MBA, MAC, PhD) use the Center to fine-tune communication skills related to the job search. You may schedule appointments for:

• mock interviews

• resume and cover letter review

• phone-interview practice

• networking advice

• job-talk practice

• teaching and research statements review

Also, check out our workshops, podcasts and newsletters for international students. Many are related to job-search communication skills.

BSBA Career Information

UCS (University Career Services) provides a number of resources and programs designed to help undergraduate students prepare for the recruiting process.  Some of these resources include:

• Internship listings
• Career planning
• Job listings
• Graduate school information

Our Kenan-Flagler BSBA students have two additional career experts available to them.  Leigh Babaian, Associate Director of Career Development (BSBA Program), can meet with students by appointment to talk about career opportunities.  Additionally, Tim Stiles, Associate Director of UCS, is our business school´s link to UCS.  Tim can meet with students by appointment in McColl Building.

MBA Career Information

Kenan-Flagler MBA students work with the Career Management Center. MBA students often use the Center as an additional resource for resume and cover letter review as well as for mock interviews.

MAC Career Information

Kathleen Lowman directs MAC Career Services. Each September MAC students prepare for the job search by signing up for mock interviews in the Center.

PhD Career Information

Each year we sponsor workshops to help PhD students prepare for the academic job search. In addition, PhD students may make appointments in the Center to practice interviews and job talks as well as to review academic job-search documents.
