Kenan-Flagler Business School
Since its inception in 1983, the Undergraduate Business Symposium continues to be one of the most
important events in the undergraduate program and an annual highlight for the entire Kenan-Flagler
Business School community. Each year, the event brings together over 400 undergraduates with
executives from around the country. The Symposium not only gives students insight in to the dynamic
business environment, but also emphasizes the skills they have learned through the Bachelor of Science
in Business Administration (BSBA) curriculum.
Symposium Highlights
• Each year, more than 400 business majors and minors participate in the Symposium
• In the past decade, Symposium has created an opportunity for nearly 1000 seasoned professionals to
share
their experiences with students
• Countless internships, career opportunities and business projects among students, faculty and
executives have
been created as result of Symposium contacts
• The Core Committee of students put their management skills into action by organizing the Symposium
